Booking Terms & Conditions

We want to make sure your experience at studio skin is the best it can possibly be.  We ask our clients to make sure that they are on time for their bookings.  If you are running late please contact us as early as possible. Ph 9589 3579

If you are feeling unwell and especially if you have any cold/flu like symptoms, please call to re-schedule your appointment at any time.  If it is out of salon opening hours, please call and leave a message on our phone. 

We understand that life gets busy and things pop up.  We ask that you do your best to provide us with at least 24 hours-notice of a cancellation to your booking. No-shows will be managed on a case-by-case basis.  Continual ongoing no shows will be asked to leave a credit card on file, which will be charged 30% of the treatment fee.  You will be notified before any charges are incurred.

We are open for bookings and adhere to all COVID-19 health and safety measures.  Please contact us if you have any concerns or questions about this. 

Privacy Policy

The information that we request and gather from you is used solely for the purposes of sending your order, confirming your payment, booking and confirming your appointments, managing your service history and communicating sales, events or offers we have available via our newsletter.

Studio skin does not sell or lease your information to any other parties.  We use a secure server and hosting platform to ensure the safety of your personal details.

If at any time you would like to unsubscribe from receiving emails from us, we will always have “unsubscribe instructions” at the bottom of the email.  You can also call us on 9589 3579 to make these changes.

When you browse on our website and when you enter sensitive information (example: your name, email address, address, phone, credit card details) into a form on our site we secure that information using industry standard SSL (Secure Socket Layer) technology.

After a transaction, your private information (credit card) will not be stored on our servers.

If we make changes to our Privacy Policy, we will provide the latest version on the website.

Terms & Conditions

By using studio skins website, you accept the Terms and Conditions as well as our Privacy Policy.  You agree that by using our website, including any purchase of goods from us, or service booking is subject to these terms. If you do not agree to these terms, please refrain from using our website.

When visiting our website, you are engaging in a service with studio skin.  Our website allows clients to book services that will be completed at our salon in Black Rock and purchase products online. 

When making a booking online for a service at studio skin, you are entering into an agreement to attend our store in person.   One of our qualified beauticians will provide this service to you. On occasion we may not be able to provide the exact service that you have booked.  Our qualified beauticians will always make sure that your skin is in a healthy state to receive our treatments.  From time to time, we may need to change the beautician who provides you with the service you have booked, in these instances we will endeavour to provide you with a courtesy phone call.  We ask that you keep your scheduled appointment or provide us with at least 24 hours’ notice for a change or cancellation of the booking.

When ordering a product online through our website, we will do our best to ensure that the product is available in stock.  Your order will only be considered confirmed once you receive a confirmation email from us.  Some of the products that we sell on our website are prescription based.  These items will need to be collected in store in person, to ensure that the product is suitable for your skin type.  An experienced beautician will be able to help you with this.  These products will be noted on the website.

When ordering a product online you are agreeing to purchase the product at the price specified.  Additional charges may apply for shipping.  These will be noted on your transaction.

Payment for the items need to be made on the website with a credit card (we accept VISA, MasterCard). 

From time to time, we may, without notice vary, modify or discontinue the sale of products on this website.

Shipping

In most cases we will ship the product to you in 3-5 business days of receipt of your order.  You will be notified of any delays in your order via email, or if the product you have purchased is out of stock in our store.  If there is a delay in getting the products to you, we will notify you and refund your money if this is preferred.

Click and Collect orders will be notified as to when they are available for pick up.  Typically within 3-5 business days.

Returns

Returns will be accepted within 7 days of receipt of the product/s.  A copy of the original payment receipt is required for the returns process.  

Returns must be received by us in store no more than 7 business days, from the activation of your return.

Reasons for returns where you will receive a full refund of the cost of the product/s include faulty goods, missing pieces, incorrect size and incorrect product. 

If the product/s are faulty, we ask that you provide us with photo of the product so we can take action.  Once we have a copy of this, we can provide you with shipping method to return the product/s.  We will offer you a replacement, refund or store credit. 

All refunds will be transferred back to the original payment method, in some cases this might be less the shipping costs.

We do not accept returns due to ‘change of mind’, unless previously agreed to by studio skin.

Cancellations

We understand that sometimes things do not go to plan and sometimes we cannot get the products to you or you change your mind.

Orders can be cancelled with a full refund if cancelled within 24 hours of placing the order. The quickest way to do this, is by calling us on 9589 3579.

Vouchers

All of our gift vouchers including online, and paper are valid for 3 years from the date of purchase and are in Australian Dollars. They cannot be redeemed for cash. Any remaining amount on the voucher or exchanges or returns will remain as a credit for future use within the original specified time period. If you return an item that was part paid by a voucher you will be refunded the voucher amount as a store credit and the remaining amount will be returned as per the original transaction payment.

The studio skin website and all of its related content is subject to copyright and possibly other intellectual property rights (“Intellectual Property Rights”).

You are granted a limited, non-transferable licence to access and use the Website for your personal, non-commercial purposes.  We may remove this permission at any time at our discretion and without warning.

We retain all right, title, and interest in and to this Website and all related content, and nothing you do on or in relation to this Website or any of the related content will transfer any Intellectual Property Rights to you.

We do not provide you with permission to reprint or electronically reproduce this Website or any related content in whole or in part for any other purpose.
